Rafat Fields:

The Lesson That Changed Everything
Early in my career, I experienced leadership like a game. I was conditioned to believe the objective was to outwit, outlast, outplay. For a while, it worked. I moved through corporate spaces solving problems, earning promotions, and proving myself in every way possible.
Then I learned the hard truth: some systems were never built for people like me to find success.
So, instead of fighting for a seat at a table that wasn’t designed to win my endgame, I chose to build a new one—a platform where leaders who deeply care about their communities could create solutions that lift them.
Today, my work is to leave tracks in the snow. As I make my climb, I'm creating resources to help more members of my community reach their summit too.

Powered To Rise was born from my journey to reclaim my voice, my purpose, and my power. I saw too many brilliant leaders—especially women of color—not reaching their full potential.
What started as inspiration to build a personal branding agency has evolved into a strategy and systems studio:
