Reduce median resolution time from 10 to 7 business days.
Reviewed 40 cases, identified handoff gaps, designed and piloted an ownership checklist, revised exception handling, and coordinated rollout.
Shared work: supervisors trained staff; analysts built the reporting view.
Evidence limit: case mix changed, too.
As customer operations lead, I was accountable for improving escalation reliability and reducing median resolution time from 10 to 7 business days. I reviewed 40 cases, identified ownership gaps at handoffs, and brought support and product leaders together to agree on a clearer process.
I designed and piloted an ownership checklist, revised the exception handling based on the pilot, and coordinated the rollout. Supervisors led staff training and analysts built the reporting view; I owned the operating design and implementation decisions.
The year-end dashboard showed a median of 7 business days, compared with 10 in the baseline quarter. Case mix also changed, so the comparison does not isolate the effect of my intervention. Beyond the time metric, I helped the teams establish a repeatable exception process and make cross-functional ownership explicit.
